Hands down my most anticipated of the year.

Love the Terminator mythos, and I've been waiting to see this aspect of it since I saw the first on.

Best line: "If you're out there, you are the Resistance."

definitely the one movie i'm looking forward to the most as well.

my excitement is fueled by last night's season finale of TSSCC. although i understand there is no continuity between the series and the movie, i'm really looking forward to seeing how the resistance got organized.

Thankfully, I've only seen bits and pieces of those.
I'm familiar with the story though and the story itself is rubbish!
If machines wanted to kill humans, there's no way they'd still be alive by casually hiding out in ruins. Heat sensors anyone?

Another thing, if I wanted to invent a terminator, I would not fashion it in the frame of a human body with the attendant limitations. Why would they need two 'eyes' when they can have a whole band of vision? Why use material that is vulnerable to bullets when there are so many bullet proof material material out there?

I did enjoy the movie in spite of wondering about the compatibility thing too.. remember I said the end could have been better.

Terminator Salvation was complete and utter crap!
The ONLY saving grace was the fact that the graphics or whatever they call the machines and the blowing up etc was well done
and the acting was good.

I love the Terminator series but Christian Bale needs to get over this semi-growl tone of voice acting he does every time he tries to convey gravitas.
