Really? I didnt know finance does work so, I thought things invested all over the place. Look, I could only analyse this on a very superficial level compared to you because you know this stuff far better tha I ever would, so I have to stick to my first point if I am to carry on my end.

If he guilty, charge im nuh. :humm:

Unfortunately in the modern world of finance you do not require guilty verdict to ascribe blame and extract penalites.

The mere appearance of impropriety can bring (and has brought) many financial institutions to their knees, and with it the fortunes of their founders.

Falcon, If I give you my money to manage and you send me a monthly statement telling me how much my investment is worth, but then you can't pay up when I say I ready for that money back, don't you think something is wrong ??

As for the "assets" of the Stanford empire, the man alledgedly bought Guiana island of Antigua for something like $60M then it alledgedly showed up on the books at a value of $3Billion.

Falcon, I counter your last statement above by saying, if he NOT guily, then all his investors should have gotten their money back.

Actualy, I was shocked to learn that he was still a free man.

Well, at least if he is not ever charged for any crime, he is still ruined, and may never be able to scam people ever again.

He looks like a completely different man. Slider, what does him (allegedly) beingt a ladies' man have anything to do with the subject at hand?

The Stanford Twenty/20 was too good to be true.
That was one of the best piece of cricket I saw between the islands.
    Hope he's proven innocent.

That is a really curious position-maybe not for cricket fans-but certainly to the people who are about to lose their money.
