Police yesterday arrested a man who allegedly abducted and sexually assaulted a 14-year-old secondary school pupil on Tuesday night.
The man was held at an abandoned house at Mon Chagrin Street, San Fernando.
The police made the arrest, because the man had invited his victim back to the house, after assaulting him, and letting him go free.
The teenage boy reported that he was walking along High Street, San Fernando, when he was snatched at around 9 p.m.
The man flung the school boy over his shoulder and ran to Mon Chagrin Street, San Fernando. The boy was buggered and left in a secluded area, police said.
He made his way to the San Fernando Police Station and reported the attack.
A medical examination on the victim was performed at the San Fernando General Hospital yesterday.

After reading this story, makes me wonder why all of sudden the rise in young people being raped. What is encouraging this kind of behavior?

This remind me of the news other day of a man trying to take and run off with a girl who was attending school at the time. But thanks to some people who run after the man that drop the girl and run into some bushes in a abandoned playing field. I find this madness has to be stopped because young children whether boy or girl don't deserve this.

Could that be the reason for the commission of many other crimes in T&T (white collar, non-violent and violent crime)....the fact that..... the chances of 'getting away with it'..... is so high.
