Shaddeck, yuh is a boss. I's only now ah comin' to realize dat.

I am glad Germany still has butterflies. I have let the 'lilac' tree survive for a few years and not a single butterfly. I cut down all my Buddleia in early spring because it was just a waste of time in recent years
nah, as far as I know, only the starlings migrate now....all the insect eaters are around but not nearly in enough numbers to dent a butterfly population. Went down to the lake on Sat and saw lots on the surface of the water so it may be that my immediate neighbourhood doesn't have enough flowers to justify butterfly numbers visiting me.
