Prakash Ramadhar has been fired as the Minister of Legal Affairs.

His appointment was revoked

this afternoon by Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar after a hastily arranged emergency Cabinet meeting at the Diplomatic Centre in Port of Spain.
Ramadhar is the political leader of the Congress of the People, one of the five parties that form the People's Partnership government.
