Kerala is a romantic place and offers a lot of places for site seeing. The greenery, backwaters and the hill stations covered with clouds are the famous destinations in Kerala. (Commercial Link Removed)
One of the most interesting places in Kerala is the backwaters. The fascination of the worldwide visitors is the exotic site seeing prospects on a cruise down the backwaters in a houseboat. The Kerala houseboats, also called as the ‘kettuvollams’ in the local language, which means boats of knots, are giant country crafts. These boats are meticulously constructed by an entire clan of artisans by tying huge planks of jack wood together.
The houseboats are extremely comfortable and merge beautifully with the surroundings. Every houseboat has an English speaking crew, comprising of a cook, a guide and oarsman. There are houseboats that are rowed by oars and the ones that are propelled by engine. There are houseboats that even have a conference hall designed for as much as 35 persons, and equipped with a dais and a sophisticated public address system.
The kettuvalloms are made comfortable by providing an open lounge, one or two bath attached bedrooms, a kitchen and a sit out on the deck. Sitting on the deck and watching the vast starry sky over head can be a treat. During the day, it is a wonderful experience to watch the beautiful landscape constituting of the birds and aquatic life around the fertile paddy fields. One can also go about exploring, swimming, fishing, bird watching or just lazing around in the sun.

Welcome to the chat group. I like your post it is very informative. I hope you

BW? What world you living in boy? Your ideas of honeymoon might exist among
couples who are living together and just need to make it a legal contract. But
in the real world of weddings most couples take time off for a honeymoon (if
they can afford )
..............Originally "honeymoon" simply described the period just after the wedding when things are at their sweetest; it is assumed to wane in a month.
To those who understand, no explanation is necessary; to those who do not, none is possible.

Treat a man as he is and he will remain as he is; treat a man as he can and should be and he
will become as he can and should be..

I shall be glad to hear from you, since questions have have always interested me; questions, not
debates - I have given those up long ago. Life itself is a quotation.
