First of all....isn't it a little premature for counting the guy out?

.... Mr Manning appeared to be an intelligent man.... I think he....his family and his party.... will know when it is time for him to resign....And the funny thing about politics..... if decides he wants to stay in office..... or even run for office again.....his constituents will have the final say....No? Last I looked.... it was really up to them.

By the way...... how many of you would accept it (without a fight) ...... if your employer asked you to resign your job..... because you suffered a stroke?

Don't know about you..... but I'd be kicking and screaming all the way to the ...... court house....that is unless I was 'flying a jet' or something....then I'd take the 'payout' or desk job ..Oh wait, Manning's job..... is a desk job

    NO, it isn't!

.... Mr Manning appeared to be an intelligent man.... I think he....his family and his party..The PNM is NOT his Party, rather it is the Party he is affiliated with... will know when it is time for him to resign..No one can make him resign as an MP..And the funny thing about politics..... if decides he wants to stay in office..... or even run for office again.....his constituents will have the final say....No? NO! Last I looked.... it was really up to them.

Rowley has the final say if he would accept the nomination to have Manning as a Candidate. I will gently remind you of all the protest it had when Manning was selecting Candidates for the 2010 Election ... There were 4 Candidates that Manning refused to accept and told the Executive of the Constituency to FIND another .... Penelope Beckles was one of them and he only accepted Rowley's because of the pressure that was put on him. It is up to Rowley to accept or to deny Manning as a Candidate.

Unfortunately my Dear, that ain't going to happen when it comes to the selection of Candidates for an Election ....

Like no one told Patrick that... when he saw Eulalie James struggling to make it into Parliament after she had a foot amputated and she fell. He turned his head as if he never saw. Like no one told him that when Morris Marshall was at death's door and he dropped the gauntlet down on Morris because he was too ill to say "how high" when Manning told him to jump!

Snow, there is a thing called Karma ... and as Jimmy Cliff [I think it was] who sang a song with the words Your evil today will blithe your tomorrow!

Somebody should have told Manning that!

Snow, my only concern is the reason why I would love to see him resign ... HIS HEALTH! I am NOT saying to put out to pasture, I am NOT even saying to quit politics because like Panday the man has a lot to offer ... just get out of the 24/7 stresses that comes with being an MP. He has his sons and David is showing more interest in becoming a politician ... pass the mantle on to him and teach your son how to run with it ... but for God sake .. after taking care of the Nation for so many years, just take the time now to take care of Patrick.
