I know this one is quite old... But it is also rather well-known, and I'm addicted to it and it has to have its own topic in here! and whose who have seen this show must agree that first season was awesome what do you think

first season was very good indeed. The story became too drawn out by series three, and I got fed UP

A lot of U.S. imports are drawn out. They run to long. Desperate Housewives should have only ended after the first series. The rest was just filler,and Lost well that was only good for two series.Anyway i didn't know the lead from Prison break was jamaican.

I think a tv series nowadays is a matter of creating a series with room for expansion; once it makes money then there's the followup, again with a longshot room for expansion, and it just keeps going that way until it dies;; in other words they're making it up as they go along, and the trick is to leave the possibilities open for a continuation series the following year in case the show is successfull.

In the case of Prison Break, at least the story doesn't get so far fetched perhaps; it basically stays in the real world; in the case of Lost, and Alcatraz, they go into time travel to make the story hold water; Fringe goes into time travel and multiple universes, but at least you can expect that from Fringe.

i am enjoying Fringe and will see how Alcatraz does before buying it.

Lost last episode was simple to understand, i dunno why no one got the ending. It was still rubbish anyway and it copped out because it didn't tell you anything people wanted to know.

Alcatraz too much like the xfiles to me.

Oh you can really get quite Lost with Lost because they keep flashing between different timelines in different universes, but it's the same actors who in one universe got lost on the island but in another universe it didn't happen; so unless you've been following the show, you really could get lost.

Simple, they did not explain the nonesense of the island or anything else. What happened was they all died at different points in time either during or after the events on the island but after they died the group did not move on to the other side until they were all together again and then they all passed over. So when that matthew fox died. they were all together again and went to heaven,hell whatever they gone. Everything to do with the island and all that stuff actually happened in the real world. That was the con. People thought the island was purgatory,dream or not real, it wasn't, it really did happen(in the lost reality) the writers didn't bother to give anyone a definative answer.

They're keeping it open for another season.

They make it up as they go along. The whole game is to keep the money rolling in.

i think Lost is over. That final episode was such a disappointment to me

it is over....with those characters. Because they never really closed the mystery of the island, they can do a new show with a new cast.

I stopped watching after the first season - geez how many seasons can u have about d bloddy same thing?! Just like 24, bleh!

Gotta admit though 24 was quite ingenious in coming up with the scenarios and how he got out of them.
