There is nothing antiquated about an ultralight aircraft.

The application of this aircraft to law enforcement however, seems foolhardy. Might be useful in monitoring land use but for backing up police activities? Being low speed does not equate to remaining stationary like a helicopter can or remaining airborne for long periods of time like a blimp. Common sense indicates there are better options available.

Honestly---all kinda justification crawling out the woodwork---and some interesting revelations as to how the arrangement came about--like the former director who said that the aircraft has not been approved by the CAA yet they have a contract--or the fact that the Company was registered two months before Gibbs issue letter of intent and some asking if Gibbs have he own tender arrangements too.

Look like economic opps more important than tactical opps.

How can a plane that has a low speed flight capability of 34mph really assist the crime fighting technique and what happens to that capability when the additional equipment is loaded? What about the fuel consumption and time in the air?

So many questions--so little answers--and Sandy--poor fella--out the loop as usual.
