Default Which building you woulda live in?

Ah feel Trini123 living in one a dem, oui...

Anyhow...the building with the Coke botte shape is known as the Marilyn Monroe building. I pass it from time to time and have had this discussion with several people who've been with me at the time. We all aree we love the building but the differences come when talking about which to live in.
Keep in mind that both buildings are of equal standard and have the same amenities and prices.

So, all other things being equal, would you rather live in such a building, or be able to look out your window and view it?

I'd much prefer to live in the other building with a view of the Marilyn building. My wife said she'd rather be able to say she lives in the Marilyn building.

    What do you think?

Hmmm ... Sorry Mr. Majik but I've never been partial to apartment dwelling, even when I lived in one. I prefer to live in a single house on lots of land. So, to answer your question, I wouldn't want to live in neither of those two.

know the buildings very well (they are right opposite the regional mall Square One )

.... majik.... I haven't been in either of them.... but my girlfriends who live right around the corner from them attended a 'showing' by a local real estate agent.... their opinion..... too much floor space was compromised because of the design.

as ah matter ah fact....right now we looking into some property ....dis time south ah de border .... but we definitely want ah 'box' ...... none ah dis fancy shmancy ting

I would live in the Marilyn Monroe building for the fun of it on a short time but none of the buildings on a long term basis.

I hear you Guy...I prefer house to apartment any day.

What I'm really asking is if you'd rather have a nice view, or be part of that view?
Would you rather live in the Manhattan skyline, or in Brooklyn or Jersey and look out and see the Skyline?
Would you rather live at the seaside, or have a nice view of the seaside?
Would you rather live in the mountains, or have a nice view of the mountains?

In all cases I'd rather have the view than be part of the view.

In reality, I would love a house along the Niagara Escarpment, with a view of Lake Ontario and the Toronto Skyline. In my area the Escarpment is known as Hamilton Mountain. However, Escarpment property is highly desired and way out of my price league.

And just sit down on my back step sip meh carib and laugh at dem

Outside of that I prefer to have the view

Snow...I remember that night very well. However, the population of Mississauga was about 280K at the time, so the vast majority of the city was evacuated. A simple click on the name of the city in that Wikipedia article would have taken you to a page that says the current population is about 738K.

In those days I was a DJ and was holding a little dance in Clarkson area of the city. A couple pardners showed up and were talking about this big fire they saw on their way down from Brampton. It was the next day we all heard about the train derailment.
On Sunday night, one of our friends' family was evacuated so she went to stay at my girlfriend's house. The Monday my girlfriend's family was evacuated, to where, I can't remember now, but I do remember that I was unable to see her for a few days, and at 17 that seems like a lifetime!

Majik ... I won't live in either ... I am afraid of heights.

Draja, one of my nieces just moved to Mississauga in December, she says she loves it there.

All our relatives live in the west end except us and my youngest son. Lived there from 1975 to 1980 when it was not so populated. Got relatives living just a few hundred yards from those two buildings.

I've been in Ajax for the last five years and you should see the amount of new houses being built north of the city. Two new schools and plazas are now being built. It's already becoming crowded May have to move further north. Love the suburbs where it's nice and quiet (for awhile).

I pass these building a lot. When I look at them it looks like a twisted piece of cardboard- Maybe because I am not a pervert.

I am waiting for the Kim Kadashian building; it would be cool to have "the booty" as part of my address.

Funny Trini123 .... but the first thing that came to mind when I saw those buildings were.... 'the old style coco cola bottles'....don't know why ...but they reminded me of those
