Default Taking a Carnival wine on your child ..

    .

As a ... grandparent ... parent ... sister .. brother .. aunt .. uncle... what would your response be if a 10 year old male or female relative is on the streets with you for Carnival ... and an adult takes a wine on him/her?

That would be a sick person to want a wine on a child, why u think telling them to rock back would help? Now ah days if yuh watch somebody hard that could get you killed.

Best thing to do is jus take the child and leave.

there are some very sick people moving at Carnival .. not only males but females as well ... and you have to be vigilant as ever ... as a parent etc ... you just have to be careful ...

so Vaio .. you saying if you watch someone hard you could get in a fracas ... that is why you have to use diplomacy ... you can't just buss someone face as much as you would want to..

Poser, you didnt tell me what a wine means. What is the person trying to 'say' when they rub their genitalia on you through their and your clothes. It's a simple question.........what does it mean?

Then, why ask such a question as in the lead post? If you want to play with fire, then don't complain about getting burnt.

i would not and did not keep my children away from Carnival .. i think it is a beautiful spectacle ... and an important part of our culture ... my children visited and played Mas twice when they were 8 and again at 13 or so ...they enjoyed the Kiddies Carnival and came away with a positive attitude .. to them it was a beautiful example of how carnival can unite the world .. that is the impression they came away with ..

    Kiddies carnival ..a beautiful spectacle.
Grown up carnival.....lewd, vulgar, abuse of alcohol, promiscuity....

When are the kiddies going to tranistion to grown up carnival? ( 10 is definitely to young)...
It must happen, what are we teaching them?
How old were you whe you had your first wine?

I honestly don't know how carnival became our cultural identiy !!

As a ... grandparent ... parent ... sister .. brother .. aunt .. uncle... what would your response be if a 10 year old male or female relative is on the streets with you for Carnival ... and an adult takes a wine on him/her?
Well if I have a say the 10 yo will not be on the streets.

However If Im in that position I would Stop it, tell the adult theyre an idiot and leave the area and head home.

A 10 year old does not understand the implications of the action and therefore will be unable to deal with the circumstances.

And if the adult doing it they have intentions IMHO

ok, so in effect if two married couples go out, they pretend to be swingers?

and if a friend of the hubby goes out with the couple, the husband doesnt mind if his friend shows explicit intentions to his wife?

wow, what absolutely sickening behaviour. Then no wonder people who indulge in that have difficult scenarios with their little kids.
