debates - I have given those up long ago. Life itself is a quotation.

I wanted to ask God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

you are so far off here. circumcision is cutting something off and is illegal in all countries even though some places ignore this. Any stitching during these so called illegal mutilations is done to because they've left an open area and or want to reduce the natural access of the body's orifices. This is all done externally.
If you'll note the OP mentioned pregnancy.
A stitch in the cervix is used at times to prevent miscarriage in some women who have a problem carrying a child to term. This is an internal procedure. This is when the plug in the cervix won't stay in place to hold the baby. Women who need this treatment have had a history of losing babies. They take the stitch out when it is time for the baby to be born. The stitch does nothing to inhibit a woman's sexual function. This is what comes of me having two generations of midwives in the family.

i know someone who had this done in England .. Harley Street ... by accident .. she and her husband were visiting England .. they are Canadian citizens .. when the wife showed sign of miscarriage .. they called an ambulance and the ambulance took them to Harley Street .. the doctors did a uterus stitch and the baby was born in Canada .. healthy ... the bill was over 400 pounds at that time ... 1972 .... now Harley Street is a very expensive place ... by the way the Canadian Government picked up the tab..

Remember, some criticise to denigrate, others to uplift, know the difference.
