Winter starts today ...

Wow waist high snow! I've never been up Huntsvill in winter; that area sure is nice in summer. Right now it is 10 deg C in the GTA and it is Jan 31. This is nuts. I my avatar pic this morning where we got about 2" snow.

Ah leave home Tuesday morning and it had a few inches of snow on mih yard. Ah come home Wednesday afternoon and all gone. Like de snow follow mih north or what?
Or maybe it was God birthday gift to me dat ah din have to shovel.

Well I continue to say..... her in South Western Ontario Canada....this is.... 'the winter that wasn't'


outside looks like Spring.... as a matter of fact.... a farmer friend of mine is very concerned because some of his 'winter wheat' is starting to sprout..... if we get another heavy snow fall or a storm....that could kill his crop.... it is too soon for it to be coming up... he needs it to say dormant for another six weeks.... at least.

Maybe they have some 'snow clearing' equipment Heathrow doesn't?

It has happened here sometimes when places like say ...... Vancouver Island / Victoria suddenly get a snow storm ...they may be snowed in ....while to regions like us ..... that amount of snow may be ..... business as usual.

....those accumulations I saw in some parts of Europe?........scary!!!
