Today, its market share is less than 10 percent. Blackberry-maker RIM has failed to counter ruthless competition from Apple's iPhone and the many Android phones now available, with total Blackberry shipments falling recently even though the overall smartphone market is still exploding. Plus RIM's PlayBook tablet device--meant to take on Apple's iPad--has been a flop. A key Blackberry upgrade has been pushed back until late 2012. By then, RIM might be gobbled up by a goliath such as Microsoft or Samsung.

    I want variety I don't find they have a good variety. I may order them online if I can find something I like.

    I just left the bb platform and switched to the iPhone.

    Chica I bought a factory unlocked off of amazon and with duties and shipping came in 20% below the prices I've seen.

    Get your cases there too

    hmm... RIM is probably the biggest OS/manufacturer in Trini, but mainly due to BBM and younger people using them.

    RIM may not even exist come this time next year, and IMO Android and iOS phones have far better functionality. My Android 2.1, which is about a year old and ent even top of the line when it was released, handles better than the BB Bold/Torch.
