There is a legal jurisdiction in London called the "City of London" which according to my understanding of the Empire, is one of the power centers of the Empire. This area is well known as a, perhaps THE, financial center of the world financial system.

Another such legal jurisdiction is "Washington DC".

And the third major center if I recall correctly, is in Jerusalem? I think?

I have reason to believe that going back a few centuries, prior to it's establishment at the "City of London", a, or the center of the then Empire of it's time was in Viena? Venice I think, referred to in some writing as the Venetian... something.
Anybody remember some story about a greedy venetian merchant demanding his pound of flesh from somebody's left breast according to the signed contract There's a reason they put certain books on our school book list to read at Primary School.... back then anyway; I wonder what the young ones read about nowadays.
