they bundling the iyp 4G thing with the iphone plans. dais what they mean.Bmobile will give you a feee one, yuh just have to pay $500/month for two years tho

They are still having problems today (according to the morning TV networks)

Not a good year for 'RIM' (Research in Motion)....they alread had three quarters where their stock prices have been falling...now they start off the fourth quarter with this?

As one of the major 'tech' employers in my area.... (in addition to the hundreds who have already been laid off this year)....guess lots more of my neighbours will be receiving 'lay off' notices.

Blackberry outage- coming to a country near you

It's hit New York at least. An hr ago, I was trying to bbm my co-worker and also email my boss.
After an hr of getting no emails (which is a rarity) I got a flurry of them, including this one:

WHO IS AFFECTED: All Blackberry devices may potentially fail to send or receive emails. Some may experience delays with delivery or no delivery at all. Please note this is a national outage originating from the vendor RIM (Research In Motion / Blackberry).

SYSTEM(S) AFFECTED: Blackberry email services.

DATE/TIME OF DOWNTIME: Started approximately 2:00AM Wednesday 10/12/2011 and is ongoing.
WHAT'S BEING DONE: The vendor is working on the issue, as per the vendor there is no estimated time to resolution.

E-MAIL ADDRESS/BEEPER # FOR CONTACT WITH QUESTIONS: Updates will be sent as they become available.
