Autumn

Today is the first day of Autumn. In Autumn the leaves turn red and gold and yellow,
and the hedges are hung with berries. This time we see cluster of orange berries, pink
berries, red-crab apples and pears in the garden. Until the frost comes ....

Petunias and Lobelia already out and dumped.
Silverdust and Violas establishing nicely for now until March.

Mowed the lawn hoping it is the last time for the year. Told my neighbour that I am not using his pool anymore and needs to switch the pump off. Leaves are not turning yet probably in 2-3 weeks time. Pepper and pimento plants are still going strong. Still drinking fresh sage and mint teas. Washed and polished car yesterday- first time in 18 months.
