When I have knotty problems to resolve, I walk. When I'm stressed about
things or people, I walk. So, when the 'other half' suggested a break decided
on a long walk along the seafront, the sun felt encouraged to come out,
allowing us to appreciate the landscape. We took in great carpets of bluebells,
birds of prey swirling overhead. On our return, feeling refreshed, and at peace,
tucked in a fish pie at the nearby pub. Walking is the complete exercise, also
allows your imagination to roam free. Of course, getting out of doors in your
own back yard is refreshing, revitalising and, most important it is close to home.
