I could not find the story in those links provided but adopting great apes is a very, very dumb idea. If they were so concerned with having a kid there are ways provided for adopting humans, a species generally more tame.

Last year or the year before there was this most tragic story that began much like this one but ended where the owners' friend had her face ripped off, the owners then had to stab their 'child' with a kitchen knife to try and save the lady, the ape was shot and cowered in its place before it died, and the owners lost their 'child'.

These things never end up nice, and people should stop trying to live in LaLa Land

I remember reading this story. Why ppl so dumb eh, they gone an adopt a gorilla no less. They really need to stop living in lala land as u rightly put it falcon. Geesh.

Last week a pet snake killed a baby in Florida. People should not keep as pet, animals that should be in the 'wild'. There will be no pets for me.
