You should be happy that you don't have to climb. I would like all my fruit trees to be like this.
This Julie Mango tree I have ( see pic) only bears fruit like in the picture, only at the bottom of the tree, it doesn't matter how much you prune the tree, fertilise etc, the only mango you getting is at the bottom hanging like christmas ornaments, nothing grows inside the tree...any ideas why ?? Keep in mind I am the only one that touches my trees so like the zaboca tree I figure I am doing something wrong.
Sorry for the pic quality ,I am posting from Ethiopia, it is the best picture of the mangoes hanging from the tree I have presently.

Hmmmm, well doh know why that would happen Hance - can u get advice from a professional about it?
Aurea
I did ask a few people including the local garden shop ( Trinidad) and basically most people don't know why this is happening, I got some advice to trim the outside of the tree and the top to allow growth in between the branches , but I am not sure of this , I suspect it can be a recipe for killing the tree also....I am trying not to do anything crazy with the tree, I prefer to have 20 Julie Mangoes instead of none. My mom always said that I am a natural born weed killer, since I destroyed a lot of her plants growing up.....I hate to think it is my "aura" causing this, since I generally love gardening. The only thing I can come up with is that the base of the tree is enclosed except for a 2.5 x 2.5 feet area around the trunk that is tiled and this in some way affecting the tree ( see pic), also I have a "local seasoning" trough along the other side of the tree ( next to pool) with shadow beni, caripoulay, thyme , lime ,pepper etc etc, I am not sure if this has an impact on the tree also. My neighbour has a pommerac tree also the other side of the wall touching the Julie Mango tree. The aim is to get the tree to produce more fruit without to much alteration to my layout.....

Try pruning to stimulate new growth and this might help with uniform bearing.
