Default Poor standards in journalism AGAIN

Is ah serious thread B W start, so I ent going to change the topic on that. Listen to this diabolical sentence structure:
AS four-year-old Ezekeil Renne Cambridge’s, who was mauled by two dogs weeks ago, condition improves, residents of Block five, Palmiste, yesterday following an emergency meeting took actions a step further circulating a petition in favour of having the two dogs put to death.

She stuck something between a possessive proper noun and its possession, not to mention two commas. That's beyond illiterate!! And a 45 word lead sentence? Stewwwps. Why you does link Newsday and get people upset on a Sunday, and moreso Easter Sunday!

Hmmm...bad grammar seems to be the order of the day at the local newspapers...

journalists are the ambassadors: they reflect the population from which the are drawn, and they work to suit their readers.

it is a shame for all trinidadian citizens when their journalists write like this

They know how to do it,vaio,it's the rush to get the story out there before someone else does...

I totally agree with you,Falcon ,in that it may be an indictment upon our level of literacy...

Given the continually atrocious writing, one has to wonder. It's painful and shameful to read our papers.

That sentence changed its subject about 4 times, and its object about 3 times. I had too many commas and amazingly STILL lacked punctuation between "meeting took"
