Why don't you just go the Agro shop and they'll recommed something for your tree...
I have this Zaboca tree on my property , back in January / February there were millions of little flowers on it and some actually sprouted a few very small Zaboca buds. After one month nothing was on the tree.
Can anyone help me in reviving the tree ? Maybe recommendations for fertiliser etc. See partial pic of the tree below, sorry for the poor quality of the pic, it is the only one with the tree I have with me presently.

sometimes that happens to my tree

hmmm, that tree lookin kinda small - is it pruned alot?
Aurea
Yes Aurea, I pruned it just before I installed the above ground pool in the pic, which was just before it started flowering in February. I did it myself , so maybe I did not do a good job and it affected the tree.
Advice above noted from Indie, the problem is, I will not be in Trinidad until June, nevertheless I will try to get someone to visit a garden shop and explain the problem..maybe the solution is simple. I love avocados so I really will make an effort to take care fo the tree.
I also have a Julie Mango tree that only bears fruit at the bottom, none inside the tree or at the top....I will try and find a pic of it, we will ask at the garden shop about this problem also.

You may have a prolem with high winds around your house. Flowers and small fruits getting blow way.
You maybe shock the tree with tht pruning job.
The tree ever bear?
Well ah think ur found ur problem - u pruned it at the time it was flowering. Has it flowered after that, and like sola asked, has it ever bear? Are there no agro shops where u live? I'm sure there are - so ask their advice.
Aurea
i had that problem a long time ago .. i planted another zaboca tree next to it ... which never flowered .. but the older one started to bear fruit

less water, inadequate pollination

go behind the tree and check if you could smell the pool. I dont know if chlorine in the air around it would effect its flowersing or bearing, but its something to consider.
I wanted to ask God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.
Hance, very useful information here:

^^^Thanks everyone for the advice, very informative, did not think about half the stuff stated above. I suspect it is not one specific problem but a combination of factors.
I did prune the tree before it started flowering , there is automatic chlorine added to the pool and also around the tree is tiled except for an area 5 feet x 5 feet ( watering may pose a factor) . The tree did bear many fruit in the past so I guess it is a matter of maintenance and care.
its quite normal when these trees flower, that they take time to start holding there flowers, maybe the mid year crop of flowers will hold.nature has a way of handling its fruit.
I am please to announce that there are exactly 8 avocados on the tree that are growing nicely ( watering appears to part a major part of the problem)....hopefully they will be full by the time I return in the middle of May....I will then join this thread with my saltfish thread and is buljol and bake with fresh zaboca....who interested ???
