Default So it did not work out ... so what?

The very word 'disappointment' is one of those funny expressions we all face every day.
It can be personal tragedies, a rained-off holiday, the end of a personal relationship or
the collapse of a business venture. It is though, the one word every one uses to embrace
that plethora of feelings, such as failure, regret, distressed, sadness ansd defeat, that
most of us experience when we encounter one of life's setbacks.
To those who understand, no explanation is necessary; to those who do not, none is possible.
    Nathaniel Branden, "Social Metaphysics."

will become as he can and should be..

In some instances, it is good that some things come to an end...because it only leads to another happy beginning! So...disappointment is not always bad

We always have good advice for friends, that we fail to
deliver to ourselves. We give a friend time to feel dis-
appointed and comfort them, rather than encouraging
them to hide their feelings and to get things into pers-
pective. You forgive a friend's mistakes, and tell them
everyone makes them. Why don't we allow that part
of ourselves to talk to the disappointed part? While
the ultimate goal is moving on from the disappointment,
it is only natural we carry the feelings of grief with us.
To those who understand, no explanation is necessary; to those who do not, none is possible.

Do you learn from your mistakes? Or do you make the same mistakes over and over again?
People who think their intelligence is fixed (I'm not one of those clever types) are much less
likely to learn from their blunders. Whereas those people who believe their intelligence is
malleable (If I put in more effort, or change the way I learn, I can do anything) rarely do
    the same thing twice.
To those who understand, no explanation is necessary; to those who do not, none is possible.

We are all creatures of habit, but the bad ones that have an effect
on our lives can be broken, by admitting you have a bad habit.
Nothing beats that genuine commitment to stop.

Real change isn't achieved with the 'head' alone. It might start as a thought, but to be carried out successfully.
it's important to be sure that this change is right for you now. This knowledge requires communication between
head and heart; it's this communication that creates motivation to move forward in life'
