Being kind, generous and empathetic, laying yourself open to another person
in the knowledge that they may take advantage of you is not a sign of folly but
of true courage.
To those who understand, no explanation is necessary; to those who do not, none is possible.
Nathaniel Branden, "Social Metaphysics."
Treat a man as he is and he will remain as he is; treat a man as he can and should be and he
will become as he can and should be..

I shall be glad to hear from you, since questions have have always interested me; questions, not
debates - I have given those up long ago. Life itself is a quotation.

Forgiveness is good for the cardiovascular system. Individuals were put
in a situation that stimulated two reactions following an attack. In the
first instance, they were asked to imagine getting revenge. To feed their
resentment, they were asked to think about the injuries they had sus-
stained, and the pain they had suffered. In the second instance, they
were invited to forgive their attacker, to tell them, that he or she was a
complex human being like themselves, with their own difficulties.

Kinder people live an average of nine years longer than others,
seemingly because giving to others boosts our immune system.

Being kind to myself first is very important. I was raised to think about other people first...later on I learned that if I treated myself as #1 then I became satisfied with myself. Having accomplished that, then I can go out and attend to others. Being secure in oneself gives one the strength to attend to others.
Trinidadians perceives kindness as a weakness. They believe in “looking big” and “f(f word)-up”
A Trinidadian poured some juice, drank it and discard the rest. A fellow Trinidadian was walking by.
I came to realise that if I had offered that Trinidadian some juice, he might thank me. But perhaps also, he would perceive his return journey to be an ideal opportunity to look big, or f- up.
I also came to realise that if I brace that Trinidadian on his return journey with a really sharpened cutlass, and do either three things, thank him in advance for handing over all his belongings, or perhaps introduce him to the idea that the next time he walks along, the cutlass would do the talking. Or don't offer anything. His thoughts and feelings would never transpire.
Over here the travellers or illegal’s has got that sort of Trinidadian mentality.
Not every culture in Trinidad is the same. I also came to realise that if that person is a 1st, 2nd or 3rd etc generation Guyanese, it would be best to pour exactly 1/4, not too much. Perhaps inform him that you really don't like Guyanese people.

UKBA: Wow! What insight!
The morale of the story is not confronting people with cutlass. Otherwise you’ll have many questions to answer.
Everyone is smarter than each other in Trinidad.
When they sit down and plan. Just stumble upon their bomb, when they execute their master plan. Show them the bomb.
Be kind to yourself by not dealing with them. And forgive yourself for not dealing with them.
The main benefit of turning our attention outwards is to learn
about life through the experiences and perspective of others.
when George Orwell spent his months on the streets of Paris
and London, living as a tramp and working in kitchens, it was
an adventure that changed him as a person by challenging his
prejudices, expanding his moral universe, giving him new friend-
ships and naturing his curiosity - as well as providing some good
literary material. Making an imaginative attempt to empathise
with other people - in conversation, reading, travel - is essential
to becoming more empathetic, and will also enrich your own life.

If you are not kind, I don't associate myself with you. I don't deal with negative people.

"Think I'm so frrreeesssshhh, think I'm so clean, think I'm so sweet, IT'S THE GOD IN ME!! "
You could only be shown and told that there are Trinidadians worst than animals, it is your prerogative whether you accept that
I could introduce you to the former doubles lady of Marbella. A very nasty minded person, a proper schemer and scammer in my book, the whole family. But also a person that claims to be a pastor. Why should they be trusted.
The children of Genghis Khan a.k.a Pakistani‘s, watch what they are doing to the UK.

A small act of thoughtfulness or generosity can have a positive impact on our daily lives.
It may be an action that seems insignificant, but it still carries great personal value, as
an act of friendship, loyalty or just simply human decency.

Man is the measure of all things. Happiness is finding one's own measure.
The Golden Rule of life: Treat others the way you will like them to treat you.
Often we do not look kindly on people who are always dependent on others.
We describe them as 'needy' and think of them as high maintenance, weak,
vulnerable. But it seems dependent people are a lot more assertive than we
think.. Dependents perform so well in situations because they aim to try to
impress others, in case in the future they need to rely on them for help or
protection.

people don't necessarily need as much kindness as they do grace.
Being kind, forgiving, smiling and having fun are all great spiritual energisers.
Emotions such as bitterness, resentment and fear pull us down into spiritual
negativity.

Some therapists say that we best understand ourselves by focusing
on the groups to which we belong - family, work, ethnicity. Bert
Hellinger, the German therapist uses systems theory: the idea that
groups are self-regulating. When we are well connected to others,
life goes well for us.
