I personally don't have breakfast; just a cup of coffee usually preceded as well as followed by a trip to the errr... toilet.

But I suspect a fruit bowl would be the healthiest breakfast. Light; digestible; doesn't clog the system.

For me, food used to be split into two categories. It is either bad (chocolate, coleslaw, pizza) or
good (vegetables, low-fat mayo, soup) The rules seemed obvious: avoid the bad stuff in favour
    of the good.

I am going to try this tomorrow for breakfast....egg whites with spinach, it looks so delicious
    actual recipe for this
    Egg whites
Egg whites are pure, high-quality protein and just 17 calories apiece, which makes them the ideal ingredient for a low-cal breakfast with real staying power. For a slimming morning meal, scramble 4 to 5 whites with any sautéed veggies (I like a combo of spinach, tomatoes, and onions) and top with a dollop of salsa (another food on my skinny list!).

Here's a next one with local food...
Whole wheat pita bread (150 cal) toasted on tawa to get it nice hot and fresh. Cut in half.
Dasheen bush bhagie and curried king fish. Paste inside with d/b bhagie and then put chunks of the king fish. Eat hot.
Bhagie and fish was already cooked making this breakfast dish easy to prepare and nutritious.
