He revealed that of the six murders recorded so far this year, the police are in the process of solving at least two. He appealed to the public to work with the police to arrest the crime situation.

On January 1, Jason King, 27, was shot dead seven minutes into the New Year. Murder number two took place when Anthony Charles, 27, of Laventille who was gunned down at about 1.15 am on January 1. Rudolph Henry Ollivierre, 80, of Fourth Street in Beetham Gardens was strangled. There were three murders yesterday, one in Point Fortin, one in Princes Town and the shooting on Duncan Street, Port-of-Spain. VAIO my friend, i think the express said seven. But, last night when i read the papers there was no mention of the murder/suicide, nor the escapee that was killed, so that might account for the difference in the numbers. I saw them on the papers this morning.

They used tuh end up being buried in ah place called the "Pauper Cemetery" up dey in St.James.

I don't know if that is still done, but I suspect it is.

Whether anyone comes to id the body or not, they will perform an autopsy.

Putting off an autopsy could make the cause of, and possibly the time of death, more difficult to determine.

I remember attending a lot of autopsies when they used to be done at the mortuary just past the Fire Station on Belmont Circular Road by the East-Dry-River.

They just used tuh call an unidentified body John or Jane Doe.

Ah used tuh say that back in he times, Mr. Doe musta been one big saga boy.

Mother of four Judy Mohammed was found dead at daybreak yesterday lying in a hammock at her Mayaro home with her throat slit and multiple chop wounds about her body.

The man suspected of killing her, a 52-year-old crab catcher, was found unconscious on the beachfront. He drank a weedicide and was listed in a critical condition at hospital last night.

The murder of Mohammed was the second deadly act of domestic violence this week.

da is a real complicated issue oui--I know a lady who had da problem and cudden geh away form the man at all--he comin all where she wuking and begging back and ting--she went half way house --same ting--he find she dey too--she eventually went back--more licks. Some serious attention has to be paid to this domestic violence issue--we have failed so far to get this sorted out. Restraining order is a waste ah time---more ah dem police have domestic issues and have no sympathy for none ah d participants.
