Financial wealth I assume.
Enjoy it with family, give some to good charities. I live a simple life so I would never own a yacht, Rolls and things of that sort.

Well, I don't have it so my simple life continues.

I am wealthy in other areas...but financially I always said if I did get that figure that will never deplete I will take care of family.

My parents
My sisters their kids
My best friends and their kids
then me.
then society.

I eh want no yacht or billiond dollar house cause that go mean billion dollar upkeep. I just want to be able to never have to check the price of anything again. To know that if push comes to shove I gots the cash to get the ball rolling or even make it stop.

I also would like to give back to society a lil bit but not via charity. I want to buy three vans and make sure that I feed the homeless or the needy on a daily basis. I want to fund and rebuild all the orphanages and shelters for homeless, women and their children, I want to have a place where we can pay for the training of staff so that more people can take care of the old, ailing, and be mentally and physically equipped to take care of these sad cases in these same orphanages.

I want to find out if I can sponsor a new building or give money to re-open de prison island and pay for a ferry and police men to work on the island so that they eh go want to take bribe and they go be motivated to work, so the government cud use de damn island to hold the really rubbish prisoners.

Wishful thinking all of it.

In terms of assets .. I am considered wealthy. I make a generous monthly contribution to the Feed the Children Fund, and I have 3 sponsored children [1 bro and 2 sis] under the Sponsor a Child Programme. I do not just make donations for them, I also buy clothes and gifts. I send it directly to them and ever so often I speak with them on the phone.

well as for financial wealth...i have enough...but if i had more i wld do more to assist children's charities and disabled children.....they are the ones who i feel need it most....

if i did not have it, i wld always live within my means and be thankful for what i have....

Yes I mean financial wealth, well, here is what I'd do if I had financial wealth. Buy schools to educate kids and even some grown ups, I would also buy Hospitals to treat the sick and dying. Open soup kitchens to feed the homeless and hungry. If I did not have financial wealth I would seek ways to acquire it by honest means, such as going to school or opening businesses.

As per response to this topic from people so far, I think its all generous, educated and thoughtfulness.

COCOA, what u r saying is very admirable. However, when people acquire wealth they change. Look at most people who win the lotto. The first thing they do, is to get away from their friends and family. THEY MOVE. But COCOA, if u become wealthy, we can't call COCOA again, because now u go know 'whey' "BARLEY DOES GROW" . I get your point Dancerboy and it's so true in what you say to a certain degree, but not in all cases. Some people live up to their standards thus allowing others to gain and grow through their sacrifice. In other words it depends on how you acquire your wealth is how it will be distributed, then again that is only my opinion.

Again, speaking for my self I doubt very much that wealth will change me. Upon realization of the most important tings in life such as filling the emptyness inside, what goes around comes around you bound to get a awareness feeling.

Cocoa, wealth will change you. It's just a question of how much.

I grew up in a very poor family. I remember my mother beating an egg and mixing in flour and water then frying it and dividing it between me and my two younger sisters. I remember her buying a tiny bottle of sweet oil and drizzling it over little pieces of salmon on Good Friday. I always used to tell myself that when I grow up, I want to eat a whole egg or maybe two and I want to have big botles of olive oil in my kitchen.

You know something. Even today I never eat less than two eggs at a time and I always make sure the wife have at least two litres of olive oil in the house all the time. And she have to use it for cooking too.

When you poor, you have to wait for bus in the rain. As soon as you could afford it, you want a car so you don't have to wait and to hell with the rain - or snow and ice and wind. And you don't want your wife waiting for bus when you ain't there. So she getting a car too. And, as the kids grow up, you will want them to go to good schools. Then you want to go on holidays. If you trying to backsqueeze a few $$$, you going to stay with friends and sleep on the floor. If you could afford it, you go want to stay in hotel. Then when you travelling, you might find it inconvenient to have to have to book flights so you just turn up at the airport and pay 10 times the fare or you hire a private plane or even buy one. You going to want hot and cold running water. You going to want a decent house. Then you going to have to start thinking about protection. And so on and so forth.

So, yes, you going to change. How much you change is up to you. You might even find that you start postponing giving to charity and so and you end up arguing with yourself that the more money you make, the more you could give and, next thing you know, you working twenty four hours a day trying to make more. Next thing you know, you like Bill Gates with his $50 billion and still trying to make more. Yes, he does give a few million here and there but that is peanuts compared to $50 billion.

The alternative, of course, is to do like Hugo Chávez - go into politics, become leader of your country, buss tax in the middle class and rich people tail, nationalise the oil and gas industries then spend the money on all them things you talking about.

Then watch the Americans jump on your tail and start calling you communist.

Money does change people. wud not always be for the worse but it does change you. Especially when you tell youself you are doing things for you and your family comfort. I have someone who just spent $750K on a new vehicle becos he said the $150K vehicle was to small to hold his family he needed a 7 seater. He did this without thinking twice becos he has the money.

I think alot of business people take advantage oftheir workers.
A guy who works on and off was telling me tht he now started working in a store and at the end ofthe week they had to ask the boss lady to pay them...she told them she forgot it was their payday and so they didnt get any money tht day. The next working day they had to again ask and she tell them she forget again but gave them each $100  so by the end of the next week this feller decide he quitting and tell the lady. She turn and say ent I gave you money ahready wht u want more for. When he left she didnt give him wht was owned and he had to go back to get his week salary + wht was owed from week before

You guys ever heard of trickle down economics, well these people were once dirt poor and when they became rich they devised the trickle plan. Because they remembered how it felt like being poor and what they were went through they felt that nobody should ever have to face that kinda of poverty. Thus opening all kinda of avenue and creating all kinda openings to help elevate poverty.

Now some people who were once poor and worked their whole life to acquire wealth (new rich) became selfish based upon their prior experiences. So it's not hard to see why these two kinda mentality exists.

How does money change people? Money here is not to be blamed, it's people themselves are to be blamed for their actions, so please stop blaming money and start blaming people for their actions or inactions.

this is very sad

You know something. Even today I never eat less than two eggs at a time and I always make sure the wife have at least two litres of olive oil in the house all the time. And she have to use it for cooking too.[glad to see improvement

And so on and so forth.having two or more cars does not make you rich, infact there are people who have everyting of conviences and are still poor, so depends on how you define rich and poor

So, yes, you going to change. How much you change is up to you.
