Hello, My name is Robyn and I am living in Ca. I have met a guy from Trinidad and I'm trying to find him again. I'm not sure on if this would be the right place to look, but I know in Ca. we have an online community as well. I know he is in Trinidad now because I recently got a phone call from him, but the return number was erased before I could write it down. His name Is Glenn Stoddart not sure of the spelling on last name. any info to help would be appreciated very much.

Lady what you could do is very simple:
(1) Get on Trinidad and Tobago and search the telephone book and call every one with the last name and there is not a lot.

(2) Or you could do it from right where you are.

(3) If he has real Interest he will call back.

(4) How do we know he is not running from you ? You could be a " Skip Tracer" trying to find the man..we do not know but we could assure this: If he wants to find you and he has your number the Trini ( if he is a trini at all he could be from some other Island faking a Trini Accent like some Trinis fakes US accents ) will surely find you .Trust that> He will find you for sure for he can call.

(5) Do you really think he wants to be found ? I do not know but I do know if he wants to find you he will call back.

Meanwhile there is always ah bunch ah fellas over where you are who are expatriates who will make you offers of friendship and some who live here also but don't worry it is all cool and I wish you find the Trini fellow you looking for if you mean him well.

Well I got good news everyone, I finally called the number I had for him and he answered the phone.. :P And was very happy to hear from me !!!! and as soon as I get my passport I will be flying to Trinidad to spend some time with him !! I can't wait..... I'm the happiest caligirl on earth right now. I just want to say thank everyone for your support and luck in finding him. I was determine to find him once again. I'll keep you informed on our reunite.

HARRY WILLIAMN, Nobody is taking a dig at TNT. A few years ago i would have recommend TNT to anybody, but i cannot honestly tell my friends to visit TNT. I would not be able to live with myself, if i suggest TNT as a vacation destination to a friend, and he/she falls victim to one of the many ills in TNT. No offence, HARRY, would you be comfortable at home ( IN TNT)knowing that your 13 year old grand daughter, sister, or neice has to walk the streets of TNT at eight o' clock in the night ?, give me an honest answer. My friend i "uses" to have a US account in TNT, and was all set to retire in TNT. There was a time i "uses'' to be in TNT at least twice a year. That's all I know is that when I come there to Trinidad I will be in very good hands and I don't think he would let anything happen to me while I was visiting. Still waiting on passport to get here..... I found some flights for like 596.00 round trip so I think that is a good deal. But no matter what the cost is I think it will be well worth every dollar.

Flights to Trinidad from the USA I have been hearing people saying are like $1400.00 round trip for Christmas and for carnival it is like $1,900.00 ...so where are those flights an what Airline ? :o

It depend on when the ticket was bought. A ticket bought let's say in October, $596 would have been the price. From RDU it was $408.

Only idiots and emergency travellers buy last minute tickets at exhorbitant prices. People like me buy tickets early with flexible dates.

However, the chances of being caught if u break the law in TRINIDAD is very,very, very slim. And the chances of your winning a case if u break the law is 99.9% in your favor. So still have a good time, enjoy yourself, but once again be very, very careful. What really gets my goat, is when these TRINIS insist that if u not into de drugs or in gangs nobody eh go bother u. If that's true why do they all have burglar proof, and ten plus dogs ? As a matter of fact burglar proofing is standard in your house now, that's like having a window or a door. U doh have to ask for them. I went to BRAZIL with WLIB and WBLS in 2004. The tour guide didn't tell us there was crime everywhere. She told us to be very careful, to travel in groups, and take only vehicles from the hotel, and request that they return to pick us up. We followed her instructions and we were safe. I went to germany to the world cup soccer last year and we had a 'BALL'. NEVER WAS AFRAID. It really hurts when i could travel to foreign destinations and have a good time and not be afraid, and then i go home in my own yard and have to walk in fear. Dancer, I will be home in 5 days and I sure nutten has changed from since January. I was out all day and when 6 o'clock I was back at the house and stayed inside.

One day when I was out with my sis, a dummy tried to snatch my bracelet off my left hand while I was sitting in the car. He never expected I would have opened the door and slam his baxide with it. He got up and ran! or I would have kicked his sorry behind into next Sunday!

As I drove through Maraval yesterday and drove along the byways ,back roads,highways from Debe to Bonneventure to Talparo to Toco and Siparia and San Fernando ,Moruga,Penal ,Erin Palo Seco,Fyza and Point ah still looking ofr them house with " Burglar Proofing " ...so ah went up laventille by meh old time despers pardner and he sit down in front he house with he sons and them and they drinking babash and I take a drink with them and we play some dominoes and I eh see no " Burglar Proof" but ah remember when I was in New York on business some ah meh pardners took me around and I see apartments with ten lock on dey door I eh lying and talk about "burglar proof " dem house and apartments was like Fortress and in Charlotte North carolina I spend some time over dey on business up at the Hilton in the Mountains and quite frankly I did not see any burglar proof up in dey but dey did not have any ex patriate trinis nor immigrants!
Then ah ask to see downtown Charlotte and I was duly warned by the Hotel Concierge do not go to certain areas and I say okay where to go? he got me a cab and they show me around and the cabbie alos told me about certain areas not to go...same thing in Miami,Orlando,
Ft Lauderdale and please, I will not even mention Los Angeles and the other crime sewers in the USA and the filth and suqalor of London and some English cities where we were told as Students not to ever go!

The point here being that in a modern society where certain rights and freedoms are accord to all it is inevitable that some human beings will take adverse advantage on that society's guranteed rights and freedoms and due process to acquire funds or services illegally and some will take the life of others in the pursuit of money,welath,power and just plain old greed and wickedness so to sit down in one society and to lambast another society when in the very society in which you live at present voilence and crime is rife and security systems and firms abound and gun sales are high .....one must admit that their is a price of freedom which is difficult to pay in every society which is attached in any way to the United States and Britatin and moreso the United States which is a purveyor of crime and violence against children,families,minorities women and even animals.

In TNT we have laws by which we arrest people and try them and if convicted sentence them.
We cannot tell judges or juries what to do politically and we cannot change our laws to appease ex patriate trinis who wnat to feel safe whenthey come here but if here is not safe why come here at all ? Why not stay where you are in your safety or go to some other country where you feel it is safe ?
