I find the mayaro one looks bess.
MC, download gimp (http://www.gimp.org) and under the TOOLS menu you will find TRANSFORM TOOLS/SCALE and CROP.

A thin, narrow strip of road through the bamboo before you reach the golf course. I like that side...used to just go driving down those roads in Tucker Valley to cool my head. That particular pic was taken a day liming with a friend. Stopped the car for a second, snapped it blindly out the sunroof and drove off again...good times.

Sola your bird on a bench pic is nice but could you straighten the horizon out? if it remains like that, it would not look good as the header because the bent horizon would conflict with the straight lines in the header.

Ali, a bit obscure :( we need stuff that evokes T'dad. You're on the right path though, have any more? :)

For sola and anyone else wondering...

To fix the horizons with Adobe Photoshop:
- Create a new image of the appropriate size (960x140)
- Paste a nice big section of the image you wish to use as the header (make sure it is larger than 960x140)
- Hit Ctrl+T and a bounding box should appear around your image (you may need to zoom out to see the box)
- Rotate the image by moving your mouse near the corner of the bounding box until it becomes a bent arrow, then click and drag until the horizon is straight
- Resize the image to suit by clicking and dragging a corner of the bounding box (hold the shift key to maintain the photo's aspect ratio)
- Hit the tick mark on the toolbar to confirm your changes
- Use file/save for web and save as JPG (use a quality setting that does not compromise image quality for file size...you will see a preview as you adjust the settings)

Other image editors should be similar enough so just hunt around with the rotate tool as may be necessary and then crop/resize to fit a 960x140 image size.
