It may sound hilarious but part time students are experiencing winter in the B.ed classes on evenings. The a/c is so cold that they have resorted to wearing winter clothing in an attempt to keep themselves warm while sitting through 3 hour lectures.

In uwi there is a room in FSA tht we call the cold room. Everyone runs outta there to thaw out and worse yet if rain fall lol

Well they have 'summer' programmes so might as well have winter somewhere.

From what I understand, its central a/c and the control panel is inaccessible.. u need ah screwdriver to get to it.

Well, they turned down the cold room a bit. The windows I only saw opened a few times when it had no electricity. Windows are also high becos its like a basement lecture hall.
But people complain abt it being hot when its turned down and being cold when its up.

Maybe the ac is to high for the small space. A bigger space wud be just fine with the central ac but in smaller space it wud be cold.
If they lower it they run risk of other people complaining.
Let them say no ac and open door and windows. Then you might get complaints of it to hot lol

the argument is that d temp is good for the daytime users and therefore they won't adjust it.. its too much trouble

the argument is that d temp is good for the daytime users and therefore they won't adjust it.. its too much troubleMost thermostats for Central A/C can be configured to change the temperature to whatever one wants at a specified time. They could set the thermostat to be cool during the day and warm, or raise the temperature during the night. What's the big deal? This is supposed to be a University with smart people, no?
