Is it too be found in Trinidad and Tobago? I am curious about this since it a horrible finding in well developed countries.

Sadly, the answer is yes, there are even male street children in TNt who roam the streets of POS at nights waiting to be picked up by wealthy men in expensive cars.

Unfortunately, there were ppl on the old forum (they ent reach here yet) who argued passionately that prostitution was a victimless crime and therefore not worth the time of the authorities.

Clearly u take that out of context....not that I'm a proponent of decriminalising prostitution per se, but sex with children is rape, regardless of consent. And no one argued for decriminalising rape.

I think what's a bit different about child 'prostitution' in this country is that the majority of the 'child prostitutes' do not prostitute themselves on their own but rather with the endorsement of their mother who plays the role of pimp. Its a sad and incredibly disburbing situation where young girls are encouraged to spread for the men who can provide for the family.

Quite right Serinity, sex with an underage is rape. If a guy wants to sell his shyt pot or a girl wants to sell her honey pot, that is their business. However, like any business they should pay the taxes.

I am Child Abuse Investigator and children and teenagers do not have the cognitiive development to make these type of decisions.
If your a parent or a stranger exploit and using a child for sex and personal gain, I am out here and I am looking for you and you don't want to meet
me in a dark alley (things have a funny way of disappearing in the cold dark of night).

Okey, I got my TESTOSTERONE IN CHECK NOW. I prosucute these scum bags all the time and I have no mercy on anyone
who abuse children. And unfortunately, child/adult sex has been apart of this world since ages of old but that means we have to
just keep fighting the good fight. The children are our the future.

BTW, just got back from the Philippines and you would not believe how easy it is to have sex with a teenager or pre-adolscent. It is truly discussing how
many parents there are hoaring out their children because of the extreme poverty they live in. I did some volunteer work at NGO who works with street children and while they can't save everyone they did a great job in helping the ones they could. Find a good NGO or Non-Profit in Trinidad that can help these kids and then support them or get invloved and roll up your sleeves personally....Trust me, the good you will do will make you feel higher than high.

^^As long as the do gooders are real benefactors. There are paedophiles just lining up for jobs with vulnerable children. Schools have adults hunting for victims around their gates so do children homes./orphanages. There's been help that has been anything but help. Helpers need to be vetted too.
