Petroleum is an important component of the Oil and Gas industry, which has given the industry an indispensable status. The petroleum forms many economically viable by-products when it is constituted with other non-hydrocarbons. Although there is a massive shift towards renewable energy sources for the fulfillment of energy demands of the world, world energy system will continue to be dominated by fossil fuels.

The world energy demand is projected to rise by 1.8% per year in the coming years. So are the profits from the investments in oil and gas (http://www.worldenergyresearch.com/ServiceandContact.aspx?id=1). The dependence of the world on fossil fuels is bound to rise in these years. This is more so because of petroleum, which is an important component of the Oil and Gas industry. Petroleum gives rise to many by-products when mixed with other non-hydrocarbons.

Fossil fuels have always been a dominant source of energy and power for the world. And in this category, Oil and Gas holds a major share. It is believed that in the coming years, the worldwide consumption of oil will increase to 30 million barrels higher than are consumed daily today.

O&G futures, ok Nolan good we read what could be, so what do we do in TT?, Atlantic LNG CEO, said in a speech in 2009, 15 years more gas , Scott Ryder report O&G auditors said similar, BP CEO said limited supplies and over extended plans, no one can find anymore big gas or oil, so we are limping to the vacuum, yet we want to build Aluminium smelter gas guzzler, a steel plant in Claxton Bay - a gas guzzler and polypropylene plant- a gas guzzler. Cant they leave some gas in the reservoirs for our children and grandchildren so they have some left then they have time to figure out what to go in a gasless TT? why finish it all off? why continue to build gas guzzlers with diminishing gas and we have to use the revenues to pay off maybe 70 billion $ loans in 15 years when gas is complete done quenched finished kaput? see we chasing we tail, bad governance by people who cant manage money and visions.
