Can someone pls help:
When trying to access radio stations in T'dad I keep getting this msg

"Windows Media Player cannot find the file. If you are trying to play, burn, or sync an item that is in your library, the item might point to a file that has been moved, renamed, or deleted".

And then I have the option to seek web help. Anyone know how to resolve this. Thks.

Could you go to other sites OK? If not your media player must be corrupted.

So how do I uncorupt the media player

Get an OS that supports free (as in speech) software and doesn't include support for non-free codecs.
http://www.archlinux.org/

Otherwise: In theory, you could manually try loading the url for the station into Windows Media Player. That just kinda works around the problem, but meh.

Hiya Saltwater,

It will be helpful in the future to include some basic info abt your system.

i,e What platform your a running incl service pack

What browser and version do you use

which version of windows media player and what error code it spits out

and a few sites that are causing the problem -- so we can check with our systems -- sometimes it is the fault with the website and not your player

It can be as simple as a missing codec which can easliy remedied

the sites might require codecs that you do not have installed

or worst case scenario some corrupted dll files in your Windows Media player

also easy to remedy.

I await your response

Regards,

Tuntunlall

Oh Boy. Sorry SW I have relatives over so I was MIA for a bit. I will post a link and you tell me if all the streams don't work or just some and what error you get.

http://www.trinidadandtobagonews.com/streams/ I believe that most if not all local stations are linked here.

I cannt seem to get Power 102 from any source and I am particularly interested in this because of the talk content.
