Mayaro Anyone???

Well I guess with the gruesome discovery in Mayaro this weekend, people will be cancelling their carefree, idyllic weekend plans of lazing around with their families at what was once thought to be the last "safe" vacation spot in Trinidad. How sad it is that we have gotten so far gone down this path of lawlessness that we cant even go to Mayaro in peace!

For the past few yrs now Mayaro is not tht safe.
I've had friends who were robbed last yr. They were all sitting around and men walked up to them, went into the house, took wht they wanted and strolled out. :?

my gf and i went last weekend. quite oblivious to all the crime. felt completely secure. even went driving around at night curiously looking for some party action.

when i got back i heard all about crime in the past few months.

i guess ignorance is bliss.

Yeah an my two relatives went hunting in the Mayaro forest last year. While one was rounding up the dogs, the other one was taking in over 14 rounds at the hands of some murderers, bleed his way for 10 hours as his bro draged him to help and safety in Grande..........an he live to tell. Safe? Very far from!
