Did anybody see it ? Saturday's Euro cup qualifying game between Italy & Scotland.... :o
Anybody knows why the referee awarded that freekick to iItaly in injury time that led to the winning goal ? :o

Amazing decision.
But Scotland lorse anyhow, their goal was offside, and Italy's (disallowed) second goal was onside!
Four negatives multiplied to give a positively fair result.

Yep, Italy's disallowed goal was a perfectly good goal, and Scotland's goal was questionable, but officials get offside decision wrong all the time, however, that freekick call was so obviously the wrong, he actually awarded the freekick to the person w ho comitted the foul !!!
I can only hope that referee faces some kind of disciplinary action !

I thought it was the linesman who signalled it.

To be honest I even know who made the call, but they could not have gotten it any more wrong, I think it's about time they start using televison replays in football.
Not one Italy supporter in the Pub on saturday could explained why that freekick was awarded, and there was too much noise to hear the commentary, I looked on the internet for an explanation but nada !!
But in the 1st half I think Scotland should have gotten a penalty when Zambrotta handled with his right hand while trying to get his hand behind his back.
The French were celebrating after that game.
