Who knows when God takes form to walk among us? How do we identify it to say this is the 10th avatar etc?

Hence the reason why we were all taught to respect everything that moves, feed, cloth and shelter the stangers who comes to our doors in need.
By the sixteen "kalas" or potencies. Some more information can be found in the links provided below about the sixteen "kalas" or potencies. http://www.sssbpt.info/ssspeaks/volume24/sss24-15.pdf

The link below mentions something you can recognize about Sri Kalki Bhagavan.
http://www.adishakti.org/prophecies/21_shri_kalki_is_manifesting.htm
..." He will be born as Kalki in the family of an eminent brahmin,
Of Sambhala village, endowed with the eight superhuman faculties. "
Sri Kalki Bhagavan is already here as Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, but for what ever reason, not everyone recognizes him as such. I am sure that in time, more people will recognize his Avatarhood. For many, he is the same as Bhagavans, Rama and Krishna who were not recognized by all as Avataras of God in their particular time, until they left the earthly plane. The sixteenth "kalas' of omnipresence and omniscience are known to be experienced in Baba by many.
The Sadhus of India said they cried out unceasingly for years, and Baba responded to their cries. Even when Baba's physical form is no more, many will still not recognize him as God. But we can rest assured that it will make no difference to many, since life for many will still go on in its usual manner. No one knows why some experience Baba as the Avatara of the age and others do no. Can it be because of degrees of faith and yearning for God?
Only extra ordinary people make statements like the one in "Though For The Day" of 11/23/07 also quoted below. Ordinary people do not make such statements, and if they do, thy would not be able to sustain and propagate the thought or concept with consistency for over eighty years as Baba has done.
"This is the human form in which every Divine entity, every Divine Principle, that is to say, all the names and forms ascribed by man to God are manifest. Do not allow doubt to distract you. If you fill your heart with steady faith in My Divinity, you can win the vision of My Reality. Instead, if you swing like a pendulum of a clock, one moment devotion, another moment disbelief, you can never succeed in comprehending the Truth and attaining bliss. You are very fortunate that you have a chance to experience the bliss of the vision of the Sarva Devata Swarupa (the form which is the embodiment of all gods) now, in this very life."
By his superior teachings and his call to dharmasthapana (return to righteousness).
