Yesterday I get an a/c compressor for an Infiniti.........barely used $100 USD.................a rack and pinion steering column (same vehicle)................$100 USD..........What a Bargain..............the vehicle is '05..............I offered the junkyard $500 for the engine and $300 for the transmission........Work is done by me and ah pardnah....What a Bargain.

you get way better prices for car parts than we do in canada. you also get a lot more internet sellers tha offer free shipping. sometimes it is actually cheaper to drive the hour and a half to niagara falls, ny to pick up parts. i changed the rotors and pads on my sister's durango. at my local napa here in ajax, they wanted $174.00 for ceramic pads. i phoned pep boys in niagara falls.....$46.00 for the ceramic pads. i even buy my tires from tire rack. i simply have the tires shipped to an installer in the falls area and have them put on over here. even when i had my 66 gto, i used to drive to cleveland and buy my parts at summit auto parts.

I've only drivi\en Toyota in the last 20 yrs but I think they have a general retracting problem. Their seat belts retract very poorly. Who knows, the pedal makers probably make the seat belts.
