I've asked my 10 year old nehpew if he would make me some bookends in his ceramics class, I've added more files to my shelves and they could do with propping up. I lke a peaceful quiet holiday with food to fill my belly, old fashioned boards games to play with the family and some tv movies to watch. I tend to get this too :D .

My Christmas wish is for somebody to come finish up the tiles in our living room. My husband and I thought we could do it on our own but we didn't realize what a huge task it was. Our bathroom had flooded the carpet and we had to rip it out. It's been months but with our busy schedules and the kids etc it's taking forever. It's about 70% done but we both fed up with it now.

My Chritmas wish is very simple: " I wish that each Police Officer,Defence Force Soldier,Prison Officer do as follows:-

(1) Obey the law to the letter and do your duty without fear or favour.

(2) Help to deliver or and deliver one Criminal a day to the Magistrates and Judges with solid well collected evidence to ensure a conviction and get them off the street for the next 20 years.

(3)That each Magistate and Judge apply the maximun penalty for the crime if accused and or defendant is found guilty upon the fairest of trials which our courts do deliver.Mercy can come later when the Prison authorities decide they have been reformed they can allow for a pardon.

(4) That we all pray for the safety of our TNT and our Citizens and Legal Residents and most of all Our TNT's Children and the safety of their minds from the Corrpt influences from " Over dey."

(5) I wish that we Pray for the continued Freedom of the Press from any kind of Governmental or Private Sector or Judicial or Foreign influence but that Our Press remains totally Independent and totally Free always. Like the Trinidad Guardian says : " THE GUARDIAN OF DEMOCRACY"

Not like the other so called " paper" which seems to me ,(I may be wrong,corrrect me here ),to be " The Mouth Piece of PNMcracy where ordinary TNT Citizens and Legal Residents have no say!"

(6) I wish for a serious Peace and Calm to gently fall upon our Country so that we could Enjoy the kind of Christmas that our Grandparents and some of our Parents enjoyed even though they did not have as much as we have today they had Peace and Love until "dem foreigners from de North Spoiled it with their nasty and materialistic influences."

(7) I wish that the poor among us are remembered and allowd to enjoy Christmas as we ourselvs do something for them.It could be a toy or a post card or a Hamper or some money or whatever God moves our heart to give ...may we do something for them this Christmas (( we al know a poor family so give them the gifet personally.maybe invite them to share Christmas dinner at home or at Church)) and show the world what a True Trini is like ...a people full of love and kindness.

(8) lastly I wish we all pray for those people in Darfur who are suffering Genocide ( The words of Us President,Mr.George W.Bush) while we enjoy Christmas as over Four Hudred Thousand of these people are already dead and so many more displaced.I wish that we pray for their relief from their sufferings. We as a people actually do something about allowing others ( even the criminals in our jails ) to have a happy Christmans.
We do beleive in God.
