I honour my needs by letting my mate know what they are. Once we let our partner s know what we need, we must accept their honest answer as to whether or not they can meet those needs. If the cannot, we must then decide if they are the ones we want in our lives. Love creates an "us" without destroying the "me"

We often say we want/need many things, while deep inside we doubt/question it will come to us.
I expect all the best right here and now, knowing one only gets what one expects. In love, life, or whatever. We must impregnate our total being with the expectation of what we want. As the feelings grows, the day will come when we give birth to exactly what we want.

PATIENCE IN PRISON. :o
Imagine the impatience Joseph felt as he waited

TAKING THE SHIELD OF FAITH

Paul writes, 'Take up ther shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one' Satan cannot penetrate a heart that's pure, soaked and fortified by faith. Which is why Jesus told Peter, 'I have prayed for you , that your faith should not fail' (Luke 22:32) But Jude said you must develop it 'by building yourselves up on your most holy faith' (Jude 20.) It is in the battles of life you discover whether you have nurtured faith or neglected faith!

What will happen if all our prayers were answered? There are certain prayers God won't answer for your own good. Your cause might be right, but you may still be wrong, manifesting pride, gloating in victory. Isaiah said, "The Lord longs to be gracious to you...therefore He waits...Isaiah 30:18.
Unanswered prayers protects...breaks...deepens...and transforms. Past unanswered prayers which left us hurt and disillusioned, act like a fire to prepare us for future answers.

Psalm 118

In Psalm 118 t he Psalmist recalls seven reasons why Good is worthy to be trusted:

b) 'The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: What can man do to me'? (v 6)
c)' The Lord taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me' (v 7)

e)' The Lord hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over until death' (v 18)

The Spirit of Do, Must Do, Have To Do...It is constantly reminding you of what you must do, have to do, or do, it attacks your brain. It can even drive you insane. Do it today. Do it better. When we lose a loved one, it is perfectly normal to grieve. However, we must learn to honour and accept , perhaps recognise each stage of that grief and every emotion we have. When we do not allow ourselves to grieve, we get stuck. When we do allow ourselves to grieve, we release the negative thoughts and emotions that make it easier to accept the change. We owe it to ourselves and the memory of the relationship to grieve and cleanse out soul.
I will take time to grieve and prepare myself for the change.

If you want to experience God's grace and power in your life, you must be willing to die to self-interest, ego, and independence. There is nothing wrong with asking God to remove your thorn. But when your prayer for deliverance turns to praise, you are on your way to power, because God is giving you grace.

by the Holy Spirit, and through fellow believers.
God does not comfort us so that we'll be comfortable;

When you receive God's comfort,
Be sure to pass it on,

From whom the comfort's drawn.

DON'T SIN BY LETTING ANGER CONTROL YOU!

It is wrong to tolerate wrong when you can do something about it. Just do it the scriptural way.
Say what you have to, in kindness. This called 'speaking the truth in love' (Ephesians 4:15). Slamming doors and storming out are un-Christian like and counter-productive. Direct your anger toward the problem, not the person.

HOW TO BECOME RICH. :humm:
You'll hear a lot of advice about how to
become rich.
But only Jesus tells it to us straight.
It's not about the money.
It's about the richness of our relationship
with Him and the joy of turning our greed
into generosity.

The riches of this world are vain,
They vanish in a day;
But sweet the treasures of God's love,
They never pass away.

Learning how to be rich toward God yields eternal dividends. [smilie=dash2.gif] :mrgreen:

I must be about my Father's business (Luke 2:49)

Twenty-one years later, dying on the cross, He announced, "It is finished" (John 19:30). These two statements are totally fulfilled, God-glorifying life. Until you have discovered your true purpose, not self-imposed purpose, but His purpose, you have not lived, and until you fulfil it you are not ready to die.

spiritual lives that will help us avoid the dangers

The Bible says: !"With (our tongue) we bless our God...and with it we curse men...these things are not to be so' (James 3: 8-10). It displeases God when we praise Him in church on Sunday then tear someone down at work on Monday. What you say about someone colours how others see them. 'Be... gentle, and patient, accepting each other in love....(Ephesians 4:2-3). Since none of are infallible and all of us need to be treated gently, patiently, and with love, let's make it a habit of treating each other that way.

Biblical parenting is not a guarantee of having
godly off-spring. But when we see spiritual
interest in the next generation, we can cultivate
vital conversations about God's Word.
This can be one of a parent's, or grandparent's,
greatest legacies.

God gives us children for a time,
To train them in His ways,
To love them and to teach them how
To follow and obey.

One of the great benefits of salvation is that it
causes the believer's mind to be guarded by the
peace of God, which can foster clear thinking,
discernment, and wisdom.

If you grasp the message of God's Word,
If you've learned to think things through,
Then you can defend the Christian faith
With wise words both clear and true.

There are two kinds of people in this world:
(1) Those who have an eternal perspective
(2) Those who are preoccupied with the present.
This is the outlook of many people, they go for
all the gusto right now.
But those who belong to Christ, we have another
point of view; we know that God has something
better later on!

I'd rather have Jesus than silver or gold;
I'd rather be His than have riches untold;
I'd rather have Jesus than anything
This world affords today.

Today, we hear of persecuted Christians around
the world, yet many of us have not been tested
to that extent.
When I examine my own faith, I wonder how I
would respond to the prospect of martyrdom?

REMEMBER PRAY WORKS. :o
Sometimes we need reminders that God
is near.
When trials come and God seems far away,
remember to pray and the truth that we are
just one prayer from connecting with the God
of the Universe.

God answers prayer, it is His sovereign way
To freely give His blessings day by day;
One earnest plea and lo! from heaven's throne
The answer comes, for God has heard His own.

Ye cannot serve God and money.

CONTENTMENT :salut:
This is what the Lord is saying to us:
He is "not" saying that we don't need to work,
that we don't need to eat, or that we shouldn't
bother about how we dress.
He was "warning" against those things
becoming so important that we become
slaves of money instead of trusting Him.
"No one can serve two masters." :humm:

Hidden in the hollow of His blessed Hand,
Never foe can follow, never traitor stand;
Not a surge of worry, not a shade of care,
Not a blast of hurry touch the spirit there.

However, dysfunctional a child may be, under God their greatest asset is a parent who responds by faith.

to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. God created you for a prearranged mission. You're a conscript, not a volunteer. You do not get to decide your calling. And it's a mistake to try and duplicate somebody else's calling. We all receive gifts from God, who 'gives them to each one, just as he determines' (1 Corinthians 12: 11) Lt God show you through your deepest desires and core competencies where you're best suited to serve. Each one of us should use whatever gift he has received to serve others/ (1 Peter 4:10). Start serving, and God will reveal them to you.
