REMINDERS OF LOVE. :roll:
Read God's Word often and be reminded that
Jesus loves you and died for you.

With lovingkindness I have drawn you,
Proving that My love is true;
Do not neglect to read of that love,
Written in My Word for you.

Nothing can compare to the love of God. :notcool: [smilie=curtsey.gif] :mrgreen:

RUNNING A MARATHON. :bounce:
The secret to finishing well is to look
forward to the joy that awaits us after
life's race.

I ran to meet Him when I heard His call,
The Savior's arms were open to receive;
And I'm still running since I gave my all,
Inviting others also to believe.

The Christian's race is not a competitive event but an endurance run. [smilie=ireful2.gif] :mrgreen:

I honour my needs by letting my mate know what they are. Once we let our partner s know what we need, we must accept their honest answer as to whether or not they can meet those needs. If the cannot, we must then decide if they are the ones we want in our lives. Love creates an "us" without destroying the "me"

We often say we want/need many things, while deep inside we doubt/question it will come to us.
I expect all the best right here and now, knowing one only gets what one expects. In love, life, or whatever. We must impregnate our total being with the expectation of what we want. As the feelings grows, the day will come when we give birth to exactly what we want.

PATIENCE IN PRISON. :o
Imagine the impatience Joseph felt as he waited
each day in that dungeon, perhaps thinking his
only chance at freedom had passed.
When you're feeling impatient, lean on the God
who is always with you.
He'll turn your impatience into patient trust.

Tune your anxious heart to patience,
Walk by faith where sight is dim;
Loving God, be calm and trustful
And leave evrything to Him.

TAKING THE SHIELD OF FAITH
Ephesians 6:16

Paul writes, 'Take up ther shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one' Satan cannot penetrate a heart that's pure, soaked and fortified by faith. Which is why Jesus told Peter, 'I have prayed for you , that your faith should not fail' (Luke 22:32) But Jude said you must develop it 'by building yourselves up on your most holy faith' (Jude 20.) It is in the battles of life you discover whether you have nurtured faith or neglected faith!

What will happen if all our prayers were answered? There are certain prayers God won't answer for your own good. Your cause might be right, but you may still be wrong, manifesting pride, gloating in victory. Isaiah said, "The Lord longs to be gracious to you...therefore He waits...Isaiah 30:18.

When we lose a loved one, it is perfectly normal to grieve. However, we must learn to honour and accept , perhaps recognise each stage of that grief and every emotion we have. When we do not allow ourselves to grieve, we get stuck. When we do allow ourselves to grieve, we release the negative thoughts and emotions that make it easier to accept the change. We owe it to ourselves and the memory of the relationship to grieve and cleanse out soul.
I will take time to grieve and prepare myself for the change.

DON'T SIN BY LETTING ANGER CONTROL YOU!
-Ephesians 4:26

It is wrong to tolerate wrong when you can do something about it. Just do it the scriptural way.
Say what you have to, in kindness. This called 'speaking the truth in love' (Ephesians 4:15). Slamming doors and storming out are un-Christian like and counter-productive. Direct your anger toward the problem, not the person.

The Bible says: !"With (our tongue) we bless our God...and with it we curse men...these things are not to be so' (James 3: 8-10). It displeases God when we praise Him in church on Sunday then tear someone down at work on Monday. What you say about someone colours how others see them. in secret, perhaps to a family member,

don't want your name to be identified with

THE THINKING CHRISTIAN :humm:
Nothing could be further from the truth.
One of the great benefits of salvation is that it
causes the believer's mind to be guarded by the
peace of God, which can foster clear thinking,

If you grasp the message of God's Word,

LATER ON........ :o
There are two kinds of people in this world:
(1) Those who have an eternal perspective
(2) Those who are preoccupied with the present.
This is the outlook of many people, they go for
all the gusto right now.
But those who belong to Christ, we have another
point of view; we know that God has something
better later on!

I'd rather have Jesus than silver or gold;
I'd rather be His than have riches untold;
I'd rather have Jesus than anything
This world affords today.

God's greater plan for us may not be to
leave our occupation. But it's His plan

THE OTHERS... :o
Today, we hear of persecuted Christians around
the world, yet many of us have not been tested
to that extent.

you are but your awareness of your impurity.
That very awareness opens the door to God's
grace.

When trials come and God seems far away,
remember to pray and the truth that we are
just one prayer from connecting with the God

God answers prayer, it is His sovereign way

One earnest plea and lo! from heaven's throne
The answer comes, for God has heard His own.

Scripture: Matthew 6:22-23 (Luke 11:34-36)
22 "The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is sound, your whole body will be full of light; 23 but if your eye is not sound, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!

Meditation: Jesus used the image of eyesight to convey an important spiritual principle. Bad eyesight is often used as a metaphor for stupidity and spiritual blindness. (For examples, see Matthew 15:14, 23:16 ff.; John 9:39-41; Romans 2 2:19; II Peter 1:9; and Revelations 3:17.) The eye is the window of the heart, mind, and "inner being" of a person. If the window is clouded, dirty, or marred in any manner, the light will be deflected and diminished. Just so with the "inner being" of a person! How we "see" affects the "inner life", "heart", and "soul" of an individual. What can blind or distort our "vision" of what is true, good, lovely, pure and everlasting (Philippians 4:8)? Certainly prejudice, jealousy, and self-conceit cause distortion or blindness. Prejudice destroys good judgment and blinds us to the facts and to their significance for us. Jealousy makes us distrustful and suspicious of others and distorts our ability to accurately examine the facts. We need to fearlessly examine ourselves to see if we are living according to right principles or if we might be misguided by prejudice or some other conceit. Love is not jealous ...but rejoices with the truth (1 Cor. 13:4-6). Do you rejoice in what is right and good and do you live your life in the light of God's truth?

"Lord, your word is life for us. Fill me with your light and truth, and give me understanding of your ways. Free me from all that is false, illusory, ugly, and unloving. Let my heart know only one treasure -- the joy and bliss of union with you -- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit."

HOW TO HELP THOSE WHO HURT. :humm:
As is so often His pattern, God uses very
ordinary people to bring about His healing.
Those who suffer don't need our knowledge

O brother man, fold to thy heart thy brother!
Where pity dwells, the peace of God is there;
To worship rightly is to love each other,
Each smile a hymn, each kindly deed a prayer.

An acceptable family rule is: Be pleased on succeeding with the other children, since children develop at different rates and in different ways. Bearing in mind most families do have a black sheep. ...GROWING IN GRACE... 2 Peter 3:18

Individuals who cling to resentments, who do not know how to handle disappointment with grace, who have long memories, who choke on the words, 'I'm sorry,' who sulk and whine, always finish up on the short end of the stick. Losing well is an art that requires all the grace we can muster. It means humility to face reality with no excuse, but with confidence not allow losing to define our identity or make us feel 'less than'. It means learning how to say congratulations'. It means letting go of an outcome we cannot change, but holding on to the will to live fully and well, and
seeking to glorify God in all that we do.
