Food Prices seem to be on the rise again in Trinidad and Tobago.I remember back in 1980
Lord Relator won the Calypso Crown with his calypso entitled "Food Prices".Twenty-nine years later. .Who else has noticed the rise of the Food Prices and what items are more noticeable?

Thousands of dollars in crops were destroyed yesterday when heavy rains flooded several acres of cultivated land along the East-West corridor.
Water from the Caroni River overflowed into farm lands located in Orange Grove, Trincity, leaving an access road impassable and crops covered in water.Farmers added that this is not the first time for the rainy season that their fields were flooded and as recently as last week Monday and Thursday, their crops were affected by flood waters.
Like I said before about food prices rising.
