Somehow i find it very curious that this report has not gotten to the office of the president as yet, especially as the head of this particular inquiry said that for the sake of people having information, they should have this knowledge before the general election.

i am wondering if the report was scathing and if so against whom?

and if it were in fact scathing, would it have affected the outcome of the general elections?

I think Maxwell have that report and is conveniently absent from the scene so he don't have to reveal the finding.

the president replied on friday night after a claim by Dookeran that the report was in his (the president's hands), that he had not in fact received it as yet.

Max on vacation....but i've heard that the report was delivered...

I heard the same thing too. But Max's vacation is obviously more important than the report.

BTW, what the heck does he do that has earned him a vacation?

apparently he went on vacation a couple of weeks ago...it was timed so that the report does not come out before election..

ok so we have already established that the info would not be released...i mean we are on election day.

but it has me wondering why? i mean if it were in the interest of the goverment to prove itself innocent of the charges of polticial interference in the matter regarding the chief justice, i would be in a hurry to have that info out, to show that sat sharma probably tried to influence the outcome of the panday matter

i mean....if on the other hand, it does not look good. i.e the goverment does not prove to be innocent of the charges of poltiical interference, would it have influenced the vote considering all this talk bout 'manning is a dictator'/secret constitution/what ken valley said was his duty to the population etc...do you think that it would have just added fuel to that fire?

You are an apologist now? I does sip on a glass of wine now and then, and does actually take a vacation sometimes, but godammit, I does work and earn my vacation. What does Max do when he not walking around criticising the Education Ministry :?:

from the hearin...the gov't must have an indication what the outcome..added to that is...if they indeed have the report..they must know how it will affect their chances on election day..
