Should HCU be forced to pay back its shareholders like CLICO?

Ahem-say what? The law in Trinidad-as far as I know-is that the common shareholder is last on the list-preferred shareholder depending on the conditions may have a leg up. How do you deduce the position on CLICO? HCU is a credit union and the"members" will divide what is left after the discharge of all the obligations to creditors. You my be referring to depositors.

The assets of HCU were inflated in their value-despite what Harry says-and therefor there may be serious problems when the assets are sold.

Does Harrynarine have a roti shop somewhere in TnT?....and did'nt the majority of shareholders are certain people, who are believed to belong to the same genetic stock;lose
plenty of money because of HCU's demise?.......No fairness here.

Stealing is to take without the owner's consent, the act of taking something from someone unlawfully,fraudulently - in a dishonest and fraudulent manner; "this money was fraudulently obtained".
a criminal who takes property or money belonging to someone else with the intention of keeping it or selling it.

HCU seems a strange case. Firms have auditers, both internal and external.

So, how come these auditers and them didn't say something to Harry, if any shadiness and under hand ting went on?
