peanut, once again you stuck in your maximum leader and one man one party frame of mind.

If Dookeran lose he seat so be it, it's the people's will. I doubt he doing any beating on the COP, they not in government but like you following everything Bas say so you ent realize that.

Shoe on other foot time, if Panday lose he seat them children he have around him go fight each other for title and mash up the whole thing. In fact they don't need to wait for him to leave, watch for right after elections.

What can you really say your UNC has done? They still in opposition and even with more seats they stand to lose some of theirs now. Job well done.

UNC-A stands to pick up more seats than they had in the last Parliament and it still have 1 more day to go. I always say 1 day in politics is like a whole year and the way the COP is bleeding, it may be dead before Monday reaches.

Last I heard his own party didn't apply for an extension in parliament so he could retain his seat, currently it is vacant.

How long you think they could extend his absence from the house after he gets jailed again?

Apparently you know exactly what's going on from foreign with the elections. You should tell them not to bother with the polls on Monday then.

Dearie, I am in foreign but I am more in touch with what's happening in T&T more than most Trinbagoninas are. It serves to have friends in high places in all the right corners :P

Well unless you is the judge in the case and you seeing the evidence beforehand then that is a tall statement. Especially since the man legal team depleted as it is.

If Bas convicted again then he go have to cut a deal with patos to ask max for a pardon or fly out.

You think is coincidence he only targeting the COP this rounds and not the PNM? When last you see Bas take on a 1 year old party so serious?

I passed through and it was pretty big...can't compare it to real red since I wasn't there. But if you see people!!!!

Funnier thing is, a lot of people I talked to have friends/family who went to the UNCA rally...but those people are apparently COP supporters who went for the entertainment! COP rally wasn't an entertainment jig, unlike the UNCA one. I kid you not people, if you walk around asking the youth of this country...many, many, many are anxious to place their vote, and anxious to place their vote for the COP. At least in those I have contact with (who come from every walk of life and every district you can imagine), there is not one PNM'ite or UNC'er to be found.

COP has a huge amount of unportrayed support, particularly from the youth camp. Monday will tell all, but I have to say that even if COP leaves Monday without a seat, they will certainly leave their mark. PNM and UNCA have their core support out in full numbers, but the "swing voter" majority is for the most part behind the COP. I suspect Monday will bring a few surprises.

On another note in keeping with this thread - good luck to the candidates!

I think Bas blinded by power and that affecting he judgement.

So he go make sure the vote split so the PNM could run away with more seats?

Please don't try and insult me by saying he wanted unity. He wanted unity only after he run d man and realize that people really fed up of seeing and hearing Bas now. If he wanted unity step aside and let someone else lead the united opposition and run for your seat like everyone else. Nah he have to take everything or its nothing.

What Bas cyah have he go mash up for everybody else. No ifs in that.
