I wanted yuh to start de thread so u can get a perspective. I think yuh rushing into this ah doh want u to stop seeing the woman but I want yuh to take it slower and savour it. Be her friend first then see if she is worthy to be more than that so that 8 months down de line she eh beome a mistake.

Black men rush things too much and then the ones who don't do it in a timely fashion also does get on meh nerves.

Find a modus operandi and stick with it. Meet Jane, ask Jane out a few times in different settings to see Jane's composure, behaviour, outlook. Find out about Jane, what makes her tick, not thick! Her likes and dislikes, her passions, what makes her mad and what makes her cry. That's becoming a friend. Then move onto the significant other if u think that Jane could be the one for you and if Jane feels the same way.
