Where is the "word" for the day? You're missing in action.
Hi Sap, I am still here, but as Brag. I was not able to have a user name with two letters, so I chose br + ag to make brag. It is the first initial of my first name and the first three letters of my last name to make up brag. The thread, "thought for the day," was started by Tunks, and I filled in when there were gaps in daily postings, but I did not intend to take over the thread. However, it appears that I did which was not my intention.

Sorry about the gaps in my postings. I am in Trinidad these days, I and have a hard time manipulating these computers which are so different from mine. Cutting and pastimg, turning pages, etc., on my brother's computer is driving me crazy. May be it is just me, I don't know.

Good to see you Ji! Good luck with the computer.
I give joyful thanks for all the support I received from all forum members and guests who joined in stimulating my participation in the forum services. Many of you enabled me to remain motivated for sharing continuously over the last ten years. I will miss all of you.
What the forum taught me most was how to communicate at multiple, new levels with a cross section of the Trini population and population of Trini and other descent globally. It also provided great opportunities for give and take. I never would have had such a broad opportunity without my membership in the forum.
I will miss Falcon and guyguy the most, not only for their critical observations that challenged me to do better, but also forced me to hold my grounds. And yes, they sometimes came across sarcastically playful and endearing.
I carry no hard feelings, whatsoever with me about anyone, as I leave the forum oficially on Frday, loving every moment of the challenges I faced. I learned from all the feedback I received.
I believe that I successfully stayed away from personality issues, and I believe I stuck fairly well to the contents of threads and posts, although, at times, I had to pull back in order to respect forum policies and rules of conduct.
If I ever offended anyone, inadvertently or by careless thought and poor choice of words, I sincerely apologize, and thank everyone for any heart-felt glimmer of forgiveness.
With Divine Blessings,
Balgrim Ragoonanan

why are you leaving Brag? :(
I accepted a calling to be a renunciant/Sadhu/Hindu monk in June of 2006 when suddenly I was repulsed by everything I owned. I took the vows and sacred thread of Sanyasi a year later, and now wish to immerse myself in the Indian way of life and culture in India and share my expertise with Indians.
Because of the US economy, I was not able to relieve myself of all my holdings until now. Now I am free of almost everything, and I am doing the last minute winding up of all loose ends. I plan to go to Trinidad to spend a little time with family members and then off to India for good, hopefully with God's grace.
Good luck in your endeavours, may you be guided by the light of God :)
i'll miss your posts though.
Brag, best of luck in your endeavors.
I appreciate the good luck wishes, mivs. I am putting my hands in the hands of the Lord. I have every confidence it is the right thing for me to do.
I know it, because twenty five years earlier, almost to date, I had a similar experience. It was when the Lord called upon me to abandon my life of partying, of wasting time, food, money, energy and knowledge with so called friends.
I was awakened to the Sai Baba movement on Dec 31st, 1985, and since then I have had a transformation of life that I never could ever have imagined. May be it was always there on the subconscious level.

I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be
enlightened in order that you may know the hope
to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious
inheritance in the saints,. (Ephesians 1:18)
All good fortune...
Thanks letric for your much appreciated blessings.

All the best BR. Hope you get/find wht you seek :)
Thanks a lot Chica. I see my myself expressing the unfolding of my spiritual growth more than seeking. Really there is nothing to seek, but to unfold. I also think it is only polite to share why I will no longer be a contributer on the forum.
In this my final post on the forum, may I wish all a Happy New Year, 2011 and many more Happy New Years to come.
Goodbye brag. Have a good one.
By cousin, I hope I can keep up with your travels and accomplishments. May God bless you in your endevours, may you have good health and let you enjoy what you do.
