This is my first time to ttonline. I was introduced to it by a good friend as a forum where a variety of topics are discussed by trinis at home and abroad. As long as time permits, I would like to contribute to the discussion of topics on which I have an opinion.

I am an attorney at law who believes that law is a tool to empower the individual to develop him/herself. Once the public understands how the law works persons are better able to protect themselves and secure their rights. I am therefore into public education to make this a reality.

I look forward to contributing to the discussions when I am able.

I have to apologise for my absence online and my lack of participation. I am not only new to this forum but am also new to the electronic community and am trying to time manage myself so as to be able to participate more fully. This last week has been hectic with many distractions and am trying to divest myself of some.

I think I also need a little more time to learn how the site functions and what I need to do to function/navigate effectively on the site. Will ask for your patience if I am a bit slow on the uptake.
