Oh Yeah? Are people actually saying to Patrick that crime is not an issue?

Manning: Crime not an issue

Since the election date was called, several murders have occurred, mainly in north Trinidad. At a walkabout over the weekend, Prime Minister Patrick Manning said crime did not seem to be an issue that was being raised by people during his walkabouts. He said since the Government’s crime consultation, people had seemed willing to move on from the issue of crime.

The Express reports that there have been 28 murders in the 22 days since Manning announced the election date. Not to worry, crime is not an issue.
