Yeah..... ah see ah gyul playing steelpan at the Nagar last year.....all draped in her beautiful sari :) ....sweet

sap, she could be my great neice, Shivana--slender and tallish. She and her sister, Sharana, play at the Divali functions at the Nagar.

Her father, my nephew, is a good teacher. He also plays the pan. I must admit that I have nothing to do with their talent, as I can't even shake the tambourine well. My mother was a great dholak player and singer, so it is likely they got some of their musical talent from her.

Jit Samaroo is the greatest pan teacher in Triniland...my opinion. It's great they inherited those talented genes.
