Lawrence Duprey, Jack Warner, Gypsy and Wade were supporters of the PNM party instead of that "dreaded" Hindu party, would they still be considered scum of the earth? Would Jack still be considered a crook instead of the man most responsible for promoting T&T on the world's football stage? Would Duprey, an international businessman of enormous wealth, be subjected to raids by the bumbling PNM police looking for supposed evidence? As if this successful businessman and local billionaire would be so stupid to keep any incriminating files at his home. Would Gypsy, a veteran calypsonian be showered with toilet paper from tent going fans?

No Gypsy would of been the best calypsonian since Sparrow, he would of filled the tents, wanted in every show and all he had to do was cuss Panday in one line.
Duprey would of been a exemplar of what a colored man can achieve and Jack would of been second to God, Wade would of had a following and if Manning only try and touch him all hell would of broken loose

DT, doh vex with meh, eh, but as I recall, Gypsy used to get the toilet paper treatment long before he joined UNC, he even made a song about it, I think it was called "toilet paper".
I think he started getting toilet paper was when he help end the PNM's rule in 1986 with one of the best calypsoes ever written (in my humble little opinion) "Sinking Ship", and he was labelled a traitor by the rabid PNM till ah dead mob.

So you admit that only when he went against the PNM that he got treated as Sh!t by the PNM suporters? Why should that be? He sang that and associated with the NAR whose main base was the ULF Panday component.

Baby King,
You haven't addressed Duprey or Warner. Can you comment on why Lawrence Duprey was such a big target for daddy's police? Did this billionaire steal money from people of T&T? What about these two events?
*October 26, 2004—Lawrence Duprey’s home is raided by members of the Anti-Corruption Bureau.
* October 27, 2004—The Point Lisas office of Clico Propan is raided by members of the Anti-Corruption Bureau.
Do you think that this savy businessman would have kept a paper trail of incriminating evidence against himself at his Trinidad home or office? Doesn't these raids reek of political harassment?
On a side note, even Abu Bakr was treated with more respect and dignity than Lawrence Duprey. Why did Manning treat the most notorious killer and crime boss in the history of T&T better than this international businessman and UNC financier?

If Jack Warner was financing the PNM allyuh think Somebody007 would be trying to throw mud at him? BTW, who is financing the PNM? Can it be a slush fund created with kickbacks from programs like CEPEP and URP? Ah wonder if Baby King and Somebody will tell us where the financing coming from? Ah wonder if Somebody007 is Manning other son? Then again it could very well be 2 degree Parisal. Where the hell is that reva guy anyhow? Let me clarify a few things for you....I am just a PNM supporter and have no blood ties or relations to Mr Manning himself. You need to ask King B who is Manning's son. Jack Warner a long time ago originally wanted to join the PNM and got blanked by Manning for the same reasons as to what we we know about Jack Warner now....corruption....Manning knew Jack Warner's hands were not clean from the start that is why the PNM blanked him in the first instance. It have people who pass through the PNM I didn't like and I criticised them the same way like everybody else......maybe not on this thread but in real life I have done so.....
I don't support the UNC for one main reason.......The racialism....anytime you around Panday and even by the things he do or say you very well know it has a hidden racial intonation to it...time and time again I have heard too many indian people saying that we doh want ah neegar Prime Minister ruling over us and it is time for d indians to take over....take over what, I don't know. When I was a student at a tertiary institution in St. Augustine, that time, Panday was in power, I have seen and heard so much bad stuff between lecturers and students and among students....I have literally watch east indian lecturers buffering up grades for indian students while students from the other races were getting shaft....The indians aint studying no harder than everybody else but because indians saw themselves as gaining revolutionary power at the time, the lecturers thought...hey, its indian time now, let our race run things....give them high marks so that when they get a good degree, they could fit easily into prestigious positions into the society and control everybody else........
Time and time again and having so many indian friends, I always have to listen to some racial talk about some neegar man picking up meh indian sister and meh father telling she get out the house......
I have also seen indians doing other people wickedness and yuh know when you try to make an attempt to address the wrong doing, people does turn around and say....leave he or she nah boy, dat is an indian yuh touching dey.....
Lemmeh tell yuh, people does classify me as an indian/syrian person, some people say syrian, others say indian, however you want to call me its fine, but yuh see that kind of mentality I just expressed there above, that sort of behaviour has been CONDEMNED BY GOD, THE CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH. Me, I not siding with anybody simply because of their race, I prefer to look at the issues and comment/act on them. All who want to promote an indian mentality, they will have to stand before GOD one day to be judged. My conscience will be clear on this issue when that day reach for me.

Somebody,
How did God get into Trinidad politics, as if God has nothing better to do with his or her time? Man, don't tell me about race talk because I am older than you and have seen and heard it over the years. Both Indians and Africans are equally guilty of this behaviour. I have had black friends forget themselves in my presence, and make disparaging remarks about Koolies. It was always about Koolies have poor guts. Koolies must be thieves because they have big houses, land and send their children to study at the best foreign universities. Speaking of that, I have a 2nd cousin studying law at Oxford and she is there not because of any Indian teacher padding her marks. How do you explain the success of these Indian students who go on to excel at foreign institutions? Man, how do you guys come up with so much false sh!t? Yes, I have heard many Indian parents not wanting their son or daughter to marry into an African home. I have also seen you say that you have a preference for women and black wasn't on your list, so what's the big deal?.
So, don't make this out to be a one sided affair. There is dislike but not blatant hate on both sides. In the end all we want is a better Trinidad for everyone. Even you must admit, that the PNM governments have failed to make us the best than we can be.

How did God get into this.....God is everywhere son....whether you like it or not....if you feel God is not in politics.....guess what He is there, watching everything going on.....God must be incuded into politics because the entire earth and everything in it belongs to Him and so that we could put up some politicans who are God conscious and adhere to moral principles as explained in religion.
I never disputed the fact that indians don't do well in education....no doubt, I too studied both in UWI and postgraduate in the UK and did extremely well in both cases....I study my arse off to do well...ask Falco about this one...but what I want to say that at the time I was doing my undergraduate degree, there was a very noticable bias to the way how indian students were being graded by indian lecturers and hearing african lecturers making remarks about examination scripts being curry flavoured by indian lecturers....they saw it and I knew it too as well because I use to watch certain indian students only playing the fool all day and all night long and still doing well while they mammy and daddy is good friends with the lecturers.
Yes it is true that indians and africans are guilty of this type of behaviour but what I want you to examine is where did the racism originally started from....go back and read some caribbean history about indentured labourers and what they use to say about african slaves......I read it with my two eyes in anthroplogy textbooks up in UWI.....

Somebody,
Your statements about Indian students in UWI getting better grades by Indian lecturers does not make any sense. Did these same Indian lecturers follow these identical Indian students to foreign universities to complete your conspiracy theory? WOW! What a silly stretch?
Now to your claims about the origins of racism in Trinidad, UWI textbooks and all. Let's say for argument sake, that your claims are accurate ;) in regards to the origin of racism in Trinidad, how do you explain these thoughts from Eric Eilliams and family?...http://www.triniview.com/kimjohnson/eric1.html
