Why does Panday wear a red beret ?

I know Chavez wears a red beret becuase he was a head of the Venezuelan military's paratroopers.-- and a red beret is the traditional symbol of airborne troops.

Why does Panday wear a red beret ? Was he in the military ?

Gary actually served this country and earned that rank. It may be a breach in protocol for him to use it now but say wha? He did earn it.

Then "twoday" there is a question of him still carrying the title of "Captain" and wearing his military outfit in a political ad. Much more than six degrees of separation. I think your last line is bothering the COP and UNC forumites the most. It is the inevitability of it all that a man of class and impeccably "clean political looks" is going to be there for another 5 years while the rest act like crabs in a barrel.
